The main difference from the SXE is less width but more of a curvy outline, more nose rocker. Slightly less tail rocker and a shorter less pronounced Vee off the tail. The outline begins with a widish nose that helps for paddling, momentum in weaker waves, nailing airs, and other high risk maneuvers. The tail out line compensates that, keeping width throughout until a slight hip to a round squash tail pod all blending in very well. This all helps for stability, speed ,control and the breaking point in the out line for tight pivoting turns. The bottom contours are a single to double inside a single concave. The concave is quiet deep from 24''back and the rail rocker changes from a generous forward concave compensating a deeper more curvy rail line around the front fins then transforming into a slight Vee behind the fin and off the tail.
